Cattle ranching is a low intensity land use, provides habitat for wildlife, and is important to Florida’s water resources. In fact, many species of wildlife, such as the endangered Florida panther, need Florida’s ranchlands in order to survive. We see it as our responsibility and mission to educate people on the importance of Florida’s ranchlands, for our economy, water and wildlife. We conduct outreach events and tours of the ranch, for students, state and federal legislators, conservation and agricultural groups and the general public.

Our goal is to educate policy-makers and the public on the importance of ranching to Florida’s future, and to demonstrate that one can run a profitable agricultural operation and protect Florida’s land, water and wildlife.
